wow I suck at updating  my blog

Anyways I´m sure i have done a hell of a lot since i last updated this.  but i´ll just write about the last few days

One day there was nothing to do so i decided to go for a unicycle ride in the country.  the road is poorly paved and is constantly changing from dirt to asphalt.  this makes for some fun fire road riding.  every time i a past some one they would great with a big smile and wish me luck on my  on ride.  Man is it ever different than in Canada.  One man who was working in his yard stopped me and we talked for a little bit, he gave a me drink and I carried on my way.  I only rode for an hour and probably got about a third of the way to Santa Sofia.  I think sometime next week i´m going to ride out to Villa de Leyva.  which is about 50 km from moniquira.

 Yesterday the day start off slow.  i got up at 6:30 to go to a farm for the day.  It was quite the farm, from what i gathered it took a most of the hill side we were one, it had cows, horses, about 7 dogs, 2 baby eagles, a blue McCaw, and parrot that i could hear talking but never saw.  I spent most f the morning half a sleep being lead around the farm by a bunch of kids as if i were there pet dog.  At lunch a really nice family came, we spent a great deal of talking, drinking  and teasing each other.  After we left farm we went  to play tajo.

Tajo is a great game.  the to me seams like a cross be tween horse shoes and putting in disc golf, plus there are explosions and lots of beer.   How you play:  we were playing in teams of four last night your team is trying to get five points.  your trying to hit a the metcha – a paper triangle filled with some sort of explosive which rests on a metal ring – with your tajo (the tajo is a steal cylindrical weight i the shape of a pyramid with the top cut off) if you hit the metcha you get one point.  if no one hits the metcha the team with the tajo which is closest wins the that end (mano) if you win three ends you get one point. and you get two points if your tajo lands in-between the two metcha (the middle).

 anyways i´m off to mongui so that all i have time to write about.
